Daniel Gordon is a photographer who has been taking photos of himself in flight. Daniel and friend find a location and set up a camera on a tripod.  Then, Daniel runs and jumps into the air while his friend snaps the shutter.  And then he crashes to the ground.
“My flying style improved over the four years I worked on this project.  I had to concentrate on keeping my body parallel to the ground.  It’s actually very painful to do - even before I hit the ground.” - Daniel Gordon
